I am surprised at the lack of indignation the case about Dr Gosnell has provoked.
Fr Pavone reminds me of the High Priests and Elders in the Bible who encouraged the hysterical mob to crucify Jesus, without a fair trial.
There are also racial overtones, as it has been pointed out in CL that Dr Gosnell is not white, and an impartial jury with non-whites is impossible.
Trial by Jury goes back to the 13th century in England with the Magna Carta and now Fr Pavone wants it abolished and be replaced with the opinion of school-children.
